I really enjoyed this course. Professor Shuve is a casual, engaging lecturer and it was interesting to learn about how women held leadership positions in the Christian church from the beginning. The one drawback of this class is that professor Shuve insists on having two students lead discussion every class, and their presentations inevitably end up being way more boring and hard to follow than the times when he actually lectures. Still, I'd recommend this course, especially to other religious studies majors.
