"Film Noir & Exile" has been one of my favorite classes at UVA, and covers a topic which is surprisingly intimately related with Germans in the United States. The readings aren't too difficult, and Professor Dobryden, a German professor, knows what he's talking about, especially with regard to cinema directed by German directors. This also counts twice for the Media Studies major. Highly recommend.
