(I took this class with Haibo Dong in Fall 2023) This class is not bad at all. The notes are very well laid out and have all the information you need in them. Weekly assignments consist of quizzes and homework. The quizzes are on canvas and are open note, so CTRL+F is your friend. The homeworks aren't terrible, but they can be VERY tedious. They usually consist of 2-3 written problems, where you do calculations by hand, and 1-2 matlab coding problems. The actual coding isn't hard, but you are required to write a pseudocode and a flow chart for all the code you write, which is pointless since matlab is basically already pseudocode. There are usually example written problems and sample pseudocodes given for every assignment. For tests, we had two midterms and a final. We were allowed notes on one side of paper for each test (so for the final we had 1.5 pages of notes). #tCFF23
