Honestly, I really loved this class and I think Prof Achilles did a great job on the delivery of it. Sometimes the readings were a little overwhelming, but since students present on the readings each week, it was okay to skim every now and then. The grade consisted of weekly responses of about a page long (super easy), which were then compiled into mid-term and final portfolios, a mid-term paper around 5 pages and a final paper around 7 pages (topics are easy to get to the page count), and one class presentation.

Loved this course! the professor was very knowledgeable and funny. She made light of what was a very serious topic. The grading consists of one page weekly responses to readings compiled into a portfolio at mid-point and final-point of the semester. Each portfolio has a short reflection attached. There was also a midterm paper and final paper both of which were 5 pages double spaced. Lastly, was a presentation in ppt on one of the readings.
