JAM is a great teacher and entertaining so I'd recommend any of her classes just because of that. Who Should Lead isn't necessarily an easy class but if you do the work then you will get an A. The reading for the class is pretty important so you need to do them but can skim sometimes since they can be kinda long occasionally. I didn't think id care about the class that much but JAM made it interesting and I am taking a separate Classics class now because of my new interest. Overall, id say it's a very good engagement class and Id take it again.

This course was wonderful for a engagement. Dr. JAM is kind, understanding, and tries to make learning about dead white guys interesting- I feel like she achieved that! She is well spoken, fun to listen to, and gives great feedback. Yes, she is constructive and not going to give you the "easy A." However, she is fair, and will always point out your strengths as well as weaknesses. She genuinely cares about her students. If you are looking for a fun egmt, I would take this one!! She assigns like 1-2 pages of reading that you just have to comment twice on (very very easy, participation), and then an actual writing assignment about every week. These are also easy, but you do have to put effort into it. Overall, her final was creative and you can basically guarantee it to raise your grade. JAM was always prepared and funny.
