This class was heavily focused on readings. If you want to complete all your work expect to spend about 1-3 hours per week reading the assigned readings which could range from anywhere from a couple of one page documents to multiple 5+ page documents. The class had very meaningful whole class and group discussions however the core of the class was dependent on the weekly readings. The final project at the end of the semester can carry your grade however I recommend keeping up with your reflections and readings as they can build up if unaccounted for. I only recommend taking this class if you are super passionate about readings pertaining to democracy and ethics, otherwise, I would look for another less work heavy class.
