I thought this class would be more like an outdoors club, but it was nothing like that. Heller's a really nice person and clearly passionate about trees (which the ENTIRE course is on, which just wasn't my thing... hence why I didn't enjoy it) and we had to do a lot of unnecessary, long readings for each class. She has a self-grading system, so it's easy to get an A as long as you show up to class, participate in discussions, and do your weekly journal entries.

tldr If you love trees, take this class. If you don't (like the majority of the people who were in my class), don't take it #tCFfall22
