I loved this class! As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I found this class (Sonic Intimacies: Listening to Queer Histories) very interesting. It taught me a lot about the queer history in activism through sounds such as podcasts and documentaries. The most valuable takeaway was the way to listen to different perspectives. At the beginning of the course, we were analyzing Frank Ocean's "Forrest Gump." Of course, you don't have to be apart of the community to enjoy the topic. I highly recommend this class because Professor Wood was very chill, sweet and funny.
