The course covers the essentials of web development from html/css/js to php, databases, front end frameworks. Professor Hott is an effective lecturer and cares about his students. Workload consists of weekly quizzes, 8 semiweekly hws, and a semester project with 5 sprints (2-3 weeks each). Start HWs and sprints earlierish because they can take time (up to 15 hours for some if inexperienced). Dont enroll expecting light
work or an easy class from previous reviews. Compared to previous sessions of 4640 this session has considerably more work. Take this into consideration when choosing classes so you don’t overload yourself.
