Possibly the easiest class at UVa. Every day you do an in class "quiz" which is just a worksheet that you go over as a class, which you submit for attendance and there is one powerpoint due each week on the weekly readings. At the end of each class you submit your notes. That is literally it. No tests. No other work. Professor Lambert is a really cool, caring, and smart guy. You can tell he is actually interested in the stuff we talk about.

If youre looking for a GPA boost that looks good on a resume. This is it. As the other reviewer said, you literally just show up to class, submit your notes, and do a powerpoint at the end of the semester. Every day, I couldn't believe that this is a class. Out of guilt of not learning anything, I tried to read some of the papers to take away some things from the class. Honestly, you could get through without learning a thing. But, if you're looking in a class in which you want to gain knowledge, this isn't it.

Literally too easy. Don't know how else to say this - the class doesn't require you to learn anything. Class periods (attendance at which is really the only important thing) are spent going over quizzes or student prepared slides (10 slides per week are required per student vaguely regarding the assigned readings, but those can really be about whatever floats your boat about them really). If you are looking for an SYS class to take that won't take much if anything out of you, try this on for size.
