Weekly homework assignments make up 25% of the final grade, along with 3 midterms at 25% each (no final exam). This class is kind of Survey of Algebra on steroids. Some topics are repeated but at a much higher and more abstract level. Would not recommend taking this course without taking Survey of Algebra first, although I think a few students did so this semester. Exams are ~65% fill in the blank and T/F with about ~35% of the points on proof problems. Wang is a solid professor, really knows what he is talking about and open to questions. The textbook wasn't great, it's meant for graduate students and wasn't much of a help if you didn't understand the lecture. Overall a very challenging course, but an interesting one for those who enjoyed Survey of Algebra.
