This course is definitely different than a lot of other courses. Every class is basically a student-led discussion about a different new technology (ie cloud computer, crypto, privacy, autonomous cars). Every student will prepare a case on the topic they choose in groups of 3-4 for one class basically introducing and facilitating discussion for the rest of the class. For the rest of the classes, you will just listen and participate in the discussion. There is also a final paper that is worth the majority of the grade which isn't graded too harshly and is pretty easy as long as you start it relatively early. The key to getting a good grade is this final paper as well as actively participating in the discussion. The class is super stress-free and a good break in your day. Also, Milton is a cool guy but he kind of just listens and chimes in every once in a while for the most part. He works as a lawyer in NOVA so half the time the classes are on zoom as well.
