Kyle is a really cool guy and brings lots of energy and passion to each class. While this is a super easy class with essentially no work, I do not really understand what the purpose was. Many of his lectures are meant to familiarize you with the world of architecture, but Kyle has a tendency to ramble and does not offer too much class participation. After fall reading days we met in person only one or two times. Many of our class were moved to Zoom because it was a guest lecturer speaking to more than one SARC1500 section and it would be too many people in one room. Kyle also offered mentoring sessions to talk with him in small groups. This is a great idea, but again, he talked during the majority of the session defeating the purpose of a mentoring session. There was one project during the course and it was graded super easily. Overall, Kyle is not a bad professor to get for SARC1500 because there is very little work involved, just be prepared for a boring course.

Super easy class. Some of his classes are private advising times so you go to yours and don't need to attend other classes. He was a super nice and helpful guy. Definitely the best of all the SARC professors. If you get him know you lucked out.
