Madame Ehrlich was a great professor. She was a kind grader and pretty engaging in class. She talks almost 100% in French in class which I was nervous about in the beginning, but it actually helped me learn the language a lot better. If you are going to take this class, take it with Madame Ehrlich!

I loved this class! I took French in high school but always had terrible teachers, so I took 1050 to relearn some of the basics. Since this class is a combination of 1010 and 1020, it is described as "intense" but if you've taken 2 or 3 years in high school it is pretty easy, it just moves fast. Workload was minimal; you have to do activities online each night but they probably take an average of 20 minutes. There are 3 compositions throughout the course and an oral exam in addition to the final. Prof. Ehrlich was great as well; she was very approachable and made the class enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend her and this class!
