#tCF2020 Neal is one of the best professors at UVA - he's super chill, friendly, knowledgeable, and cares about the course! If you have the chance to take it with him, I'd recommend it. The way that this course operated in F20 was asynchronous lectures and Thursday discussions, with five programming assignments throughout the semester and two exams. The programming assignments vary in difficulty, so it is best to give yourself a few days to work on them. However, they're really fun and they help a lot with understanding the material. The exams are very simple - just multiple choice/matching, which should be simple with minimal studying. Overall, this was a really enjoyable elective and the skills you learn will definitely be applicable in the workforce.
