I took Stangl's class called "Heroes, Saints, and Everyday Ethics" and really enjoyed it! Heroes and Saints were definitely not an area of Philosophy I was too familiar with, but the material was fascinating. If you are interested in psychology or religious studies, there is definitely some overlap from those departments. The class was very manageable - average amount of readings, a midterm, take home final, and two papers. I LOVE Prof. Stangl because she is so nice and engaging so overall I would definitely recommend this class.
