This was a weird class but I am glad I took it. Sam Green is passionate about mindfulness and coming from someone who has never practiced mindfulness, I certainly learned a lot. You mediate for a good bit every class starting in week 3, so if sitting quietly for 20 minutes sounds like hell to you-don't take this class. I do believe that this class made me a better student and person, and I have some better habits from taking this. It's a small class so you will speak but I was with a great group and the smallness and atmosphere never made me feel judged or anything. You do have to take this class seriously or else you won't get anything out of it, so this isn't the class to pretend/act like your too cool for it. There are two ungraded 2 page essays for this class and for homework you're supposed to meditate daily. It was a weird but nice way to spend 2 hours of week and get an additional credit.

I honestly loved this course! I knew it was going to be "easy" especially because it's a credit/ no credit class. However, I feel as if I really learned valuable things during this class! Sam is awesome!
