This course was very interesting! It actually involved five separate professors: Francesca Calamita (Italy), Christopher Colvin (South Africa), Bilal Humeidan (Jordan), Charles Laughlin (China), and Len Schoppa (Japan). Each country had two days to discuss the role of women, COVID-19, and more. There were readings and documentaries that were assigned as homework every day and a 300-word max response was due before class the next day. The class was 50% quizzes (5 quizzes in total), 30% final paper, 10% attendance, and 10% responses. I would highly recommend this as a j-term class.
