IF YOU ARE NOT AN EVSC MAJOR DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. While this course wasn't particularly difficult, the co-teaching model between Prof. Moody and Prof. Shaman was entirely ineffective. They were often not on the same page about course material. Never gave clear deadlines for assignments, or clear assignment descriptions for that matter, and overall fostered a very negative classroom environment in which students were constantly trying to "one-up" each other. If they seriously want people to be more passionate about climate change, they should create an inclusive environment that people who aren't particularly knowledgable about climate change prior to the course could feel comfortable in!! Makes no sense to me and defeats all of the goals they claimed to have for the course. Just don't do it. If you want an EVSC class that's informative and actually fun take anything with Deborah Lawrence.
