This was absolutely the most heinous course I have taken. There were multiple points in the semester when the TAs did not know what was going on. I am not sure who made the labs and decided it was appropriate for undergrad students. I am lucky I had a great TA who was able to walk us through any question we had. You can expect to spend the full 4 hours in lab most weeks. On top of that, there will be outside lab work for sure. Some weeks the outside work can be hours. This lab needs a major overhaul. At the very least it should be worth more than one credit because it was way more work than the 3 credit lecture. Unfortunately for environmental science majors, this is a required course and there is not a way to get out of it, just make sure you are with a good TA. #tCFF23
