Overall, this lab is one of the easiest ways to get your second writing requirement. There are many drafts with lots of TA comments in order to perfect your final papers. That being said, there's still a lot of writing being done. The field trip labs are a lot of fun. My TA was Brynn Cook. She was very knowledgable and helpful when it came to writing papers. She liked us to stay and work on our labs together which often made the lab blocks run longer than some of the others, but we had less work to do on our own and less confusion when doing it. However, she required a lot more sources than some of the other TAs and tended to grade drafts harshly.
