BEVIN ENTIENNE WAS MY PROFESSOR. I couldn't find his review page but yeah my class was ENTP 1010 and Bevin was so easy. Readings were not done and every now and again you turn in one page assignments and then everything is online quizzes and a 5 page final project. Chose your group wisely btw. Not bad tho really cool.

This class is now called ENTP 1010. As other people said the class is very interactive and discussion based although you don't have to participate if you don't want to. You will need to complete the activites FULLY for full credit though. Writing something is better than nothing. The readings can get a little long, but you do need them for the quizzes so you'll eventually have to read them even if you don't do it before class. To succeed, make sure you read the articles and understand how to do the financial math before you do the quizzes, which are about 10 questions. They aren't hard but it's easy to make mistakes and see your grade trickle down from an A to an A- just like that.

My favorite class this semester! Touve is great; he has the best powerpoints I've ever seen, but the class is not lecture based. A typical class consists of interactive discussions and workshops. One day we even had to try selling random objects to each other when we studied the art of pitching a business. There are no exams! Your grade is based on 5 announced quizzes (which aren't hard if you do all the readings and review them beforehand), a weekly one page response to a case study, and then a final project. I signed up for this class as a pre-commerce major and it was a valuable experience. Whether you're interested in starting your own company, or just learning more about the process, venture capital, how negotiations and business deals work, or even basic financial skills such as capitalization tables, I would highly recommend this class!

Awesome class! Classes are very hands-on/interactive and there's not a lot of work at all. You have to do a one-page write-up every week, but other than that and the tests, that's it. Class is very fun - you do everything from building models out of paper + random objects, to negotiating a mock founders agreement. Touve is also a hilarious person. I always look forward to going to class.

Touve is the man! Easy class (although it's a 95 for an A, it's very easy to get), and you actually learn applicable info like cap tables, valuation techniques, discounted cash flow, etc. Highly recommended for anyone interested in entrepreneurship
