I loved this class and learned so much about the Renaissance artists. We had three papers due for the whole semester, two of which she assigned the topic and for the third one, we could pick what we wanted to talk and further explore. She is very very approachable and if you need help, she WILL help you. If you like art, you would enjoy her class. The first 2-3 lectures are a little dry but the rest of the lectures become much more interesting. You would study the works of Raphael, Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Parmigianino, Correggio ... and the architecture of the time. You do not have to be amazing writers in this class, as long as the content is there and you can talk about the topic you should be fine. If you bring your paper to her before the deadline (our deadline was the last day of the class) she would tell what needs to be fixed or further explored. It is not a hard class AT ALL and it not impossible to get an A.
