Having no previous experience learning about the civil rights era AT ALL, I was quite nervous to take this class and be expected to participate in discussions about it. The readings and screenings were all super fun, the two-page double-spaced reading responses were not hard to complete, and she usually grades fairly. The final paper was a little lengthy, at around 12 pages, but it was not hard to complete as you get to pick a topic of your own choice (relating to the coursework). Bodroghkozy's teaching style can be hard to follow at first, but she will never call on you if you didn't raise your hand. She's the expert on this era, especially on the media. I would definitely recommend taking this class!
