Matt was teaching the course based on Holt's classes this semester. The format this semester changed from previous semesters, with 60% quizzes on Thursdays, 20% HW due Monday/Tuesday nights, 20% in-class group assignments on Tuesdays, all weekly. Material is initially easy, problems later on get quite challenging, and expect a lot of True or False questions regarding matrix properties (e.g. span, subspace, basis, linear independence, etc.). The topics build on each other. Matt didn't adjust well to the online format, had trouble with Gradescope and posting lecture videos, but he was a pretty chill guy. He was really helpful in group work but this class is basically teaching yourself with the videos and/or textbook.
