This is an interesting class, but if you have any basic knowledge of EMT-type of stuff it might be kind of boring. The labs, where we get to practice the skills, are usually really good, though. The only thing I really have against this class is that you learn all of this stuff but don't come out with any certification besides CPR for Healthcare Professionals. You're trained as a "First Responder" which basically means nothing. Overall, though, the class isn't too hard and might be worth it for the basic knowledge that you can use in literally any healthcare career.
A much needed course that could even be deemed required. One will learn the necessary skills in a low stakes environment to save a life. Colby is a grad student and is SUPER chill. You have class 2x a week and lab on fridays where you practice skills. There is a practical skill test, but is graded fairly. There are a ton of grades for this class, which kind of makes you slack off, but as long as you go to class and study the night before, you'll be fine.
