Not bad, good course. Quizzes are hard but labs are fun.

If you put a lot of time into your summaries, go to office hours to ask questions, and go to lab lecture, you can easily get an A in the class. Just work hard to understand the concepts and lab will be easy.

Labs are held every other week. There is a lab lecture the week of lab and lab recitation the week after lab. There are 5 1-page summaries that are due after lab and a quiz before each lab. There is a final lab report based on the last lab section. The final is just 21 questions, multiple choice and isn't too bad if you actually understand the concepts. The grading really depends on the TA that you are assigned to; some are more difficult than others. The lab lecture isn't very necessary, he just explains what is going to be done during the lab, and then the recitation goes more in depth explaining the concepts that we should take away from the lab. The lab procedures themselves almost never work out the way they are expected and the TAs even admit this.
