If you like drawing and have any talent for it, you'll love this class. This is not however a good class to get into if you have absolutely no skills for drawing.

You will try a lot of different media, and your grade will be based on homework/classwork, a midterm, and a final project (which consists of 3 drawings). The homeworks aren't that bad and they're not every week, but they do take some time. The final project and midterm are especially time consuming (the midterm taking about 6 hours and the final project maybe three times more).

However, Professor Phoebus is not a harsh grader at all. I got an A- on the class because I failed to complete most of the homeworks and crammed the final into an all-nighter. If you give this class the time it requires, it'll be an easy A.

Overall, if you have an interest in drawing and a few hours to spare every week, I'd recommend this class.
