This class was a breeze during the year. Final grade is based on a project you complete in parts over the year (which I ended up doing each part the night before), weekly journal entries on a blog relating readings to outside the classroom that weren't graded, a group presentation, and participation (I think). The most I got out of this class was from the book I had to read in my group presentation. Other than that I rarely paid attention in class because the lectures were pretty confusing, which is hard to avoid in the anthropology field anyways. There was really no work for this class and you could easily get by without the readings as long as you said one or two things in class and paid attention so you could do the weekly portfolios. Professor is super nice and makes himself accessible. I ended up with a B+ but have no idea why because you got 0 grades back during the semester. Wouldn't really recommend unless you're looking for a (somewhat) easy A that requires hard work like 4 days a semester.
