Professor Alexy was pretty good. She is very knowledgable about her subject, open to questions and discussion during lecture while maintaining control over the time period. She assigns anywhere from 30 - 100 pages of reading between classes, although as long as you get the gist of the assigned reading and can contribute to discussion somehow you'll get by. The return rate on her grades were absolutely heinous, and once she finally got my writings back to me it felt as though she glanced over them rather than devoting any real attention to my efforts. For a class that satisfies both the anthropology and non western perspective requirements, this wasn't a bad way to go.
