I didn't take his ENWR class but his ENLT 2548: Ethnic American Fiction class. The readings for that class were enjoyable, and the assignments were easy: two papers and other short writing assignments. I didn't find class discussions to be very informative because the instructor did not lead it and did not have a clear direction, so it was very scattered and not productive often times. The instructor is a little awkward, but the class I took shouldn't be hard if you do the readings and papers, and participate in class discussions.

Topic was 1960's. At least one class was cancelled a week if not more. Only three 5 page papers are due and you can rewrite one for the final or just sub in your highest grade. Very easy class, Nathan is hard to hear even if you sit right in front of him, he is awkward at times but does seem to care about his students. I don't think anybody ever got below a B on their paper.
