Prof Eckl is very nice and understanding. I seriously recommend going to her optional classes and office hours to look over your essays, especially if you struggle with different punctuation usages (it's helped me a lot!). The grade is roughly half easy points (participating in discussions, posting weekly on the forum) and the other half is on two essays, a podcast, and a reflection letter about the course. She makes it very clear in the beginning as long as you show up, participate, and turn in things in on time, you will get at least a B in the class. In all honestly, the workload is so doable, I wish she gave us one more essay as an assignment. If you choose to take this class seriously your writing will improve and I found myself enjoying writing more throughout the semester.
You have weekly readings which should take around 1-2 hours but sometimes she assigns a movie to watch. If you take the time to plan out your essays and revise your papers thoroughly, you should get an A in this class.
