Typical writing course. Anne is really nice but not the best lecturer or the best at giving feedback. Most class activities were pointless and extremely boring. When I took the class, the topic was Attention, which sounds cool at first and it was fun to talk about in discussions, but some of the assignments, essays and readings were more mind-numbing than interesting. Also, you spend a lot of time reading a book teaching you how to write, and while that is useful, the content you cover over 4-5 weeks can be covered in one class. While this class is on the boring side, Anne is really nice and the actually class is not difficult at all.
