Overall this class was not as bad as I thought it would be in the beginning. The topic was not the same as was listed on SIS. Instead of crime and detective, it ended up being rebellion in the black and white. While the information was still a bore to me, it could have been a lot worse. I did hate Holladay's grading though. She only gave letter grades for quizzes which was confusing when trying to figure out exactly what you did wrong and left you feeling unfairly graded. Reading assignments were usually manageable, but sometimes she would assign outrageous amounts that there was no way to complete unless you ignored the rest of your classwork. All in all, try to get into a better professor's ENWR, but if you don't have a choice or the other choices are even worse, it's fairly manageable.

Do not take any class with professor holladay. She is very close minded and will give you a bad grades on essays if your opinion doesn't agree with hers.
