Prof. Lara is such a great choice for ENWR. For one, all the readings are online now so you don't have to buy anything for this class (which is always nice). Class goes by relatively quickly. We start by writing for like 5 mins every class just to jot some thoughts down about the topic that day, and then we share. Class is very well structured and relaxed (while we still get things done). There is minimal work outside of class other than the occasional reading, and a few papers here and there (3 big ones). She is a fair grader and gives nice feedback. She was kind enough to give everyone an A this semester (as long as we turned in a satisfactory final paper) considering the pandemic, and I respect how considerate a person she is.

Lara is a great person. There is minimal daily work however there are 3 longer papers (4-6 pages). This semester the class's topic was Wonder in Science. Class discussions are interesting and she's a nice person. However, her grading leaves a bit to be desired. Everyone got an A this semester but it wouldn't have been that way otherwise. Still I think you can easily get a B+ or A- if you just do the work. Getting an A might be harder. I'd recommend Lara though because she makes the class very interesting.

Lara is a good ENWR teacher. She understands that this is a required course and does not require a huge amount of work. Three five-page essays over the whole semester with few interesting reads each week.
