Driver is an amazing professor. He is super chill and laid back. His assignments are not that difficult at all, but they can take a little bit of time to complete. The biggest grade is his final portfolio so make sure you keep all of your assignments on one document so that it's easier to turn in the portfolio

ENWR 1510 with Keith Driver has been one of the most enjoyable classes. He really cares about each and every one of his students and strives for everyone to become more proficient of their writing and ways to make reading and writing more enjoyable. Very knowledgeable on many different subject and great to have conversations with. If you need to fulfill your first writing requirement, this is one class and professor that I would recommend 100%.

I fricken love Keith Driver. I had him for "writing about food" and he was so passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. The readings he assigned we're not too difficult, mostly online articles or short narratives so it wouldn't take that long to skim through it. All of class time focused on discussing the readings but most of the time he would go off on interesting tangents which was fun. He did expect a lot out of your writing but he gives you multiple chances to revise throughout the year. Would recommend scheduling time to go work on your papers with him, it really helps you get a sense of what grade he thinks your paper is at, at the moment, and what you can do to get a better grade before you turn your final version in. Overall, really chill class, awesome professor!!

Driver is a great guy and great professor! Even though the material we were covering wasn't that interesting he was very interesting to listen to and have conversations with. He is always willing to meet with you to go over your essays and give you feedback

LOVED this class and the teacher! Keith is super passionate about the subject, and so was I. DO NOT take this class if you don't care about eating ethically because that's what all the readings are about. However, if you love food, go for it! Easy class and little work.

I took Professor Driver's "Writing About Photography" class and I truly enjoyed it. I really got into the whole theme of the class and it helped my writing and also changed the way I though about photography. You don't have to love photography to take this class, however, you should try to participate in discussion otherwise it could get boring or uninteresting. Professor Driver is cool and always helpful if you're not sure where to go with an essay.

Don't be fooled by the class title "talking about food," it was not as enjoyable as it seemingly sounds. Professor Driver is a very interesting guy, he is clearly passionate about writing and english, but he can be so confusing sometimes. We spent our time in class talking about our readings (which were about the impacts of food on us/eating habits/trends with eating/ethics of eating...basically more about eating than actual food). This was by far the least enjoyable class I had the semester (and I also had Stats with Spitzer, so that says a lot).

For an ENWR class, the grading was way too difficult. Most people in my class received C's on their first paper. While he does give you the chance to rewrite your first 3 papers and resubmit it for a new grade, he expects far too much for such a basic english class. I visited his office hours several times, which was helpful because I got to see what he wanted from my paper, but other than that the class was pretty obscure and dragged on for far too long.
