Considering that the course material is a little dry by nature, I think that Rachel did a great job in actually teaching how to write good papers. While she does expect a lot from you, she is at least clear in what she expects. She also gives a lot of time in class to peer edit papers before turning them in for a grade. From the things I've heard about other course instructors, if you have to take ENWR I'd recommend taking it with Rachel.
