This is the best English class I have ever taken. Not only was the subject really interesting (Survival), but Ms. Wohlsdorf is such an amazing teacher. Her style isn't exactly conventional for a writing class, but that's what made it so great. Each day of class, we all participated in a class discussion of what we read the night before. The in-depth discussions directly contribute to building ideas for paper topics, but they also teach you what to look for in the writing and how to write about the "so what?" factor. Ms. Wohlsdorf really cares about her students and what she's teaching. Her passion for writing transcends into her ability to teach us all how to better ourselves. I learned so much in this class, about myself and the world around me. I'm sad that the semester is almost over.

I always look forward to this class! Ms.Wohlsdorf helped me improve my writing skills so much since high school, and we got to do it with intriguing topics. In this class you get to read the Hunger Games and Battle Royal, and other passages. The class discussion is always interesting. There are 2 five page papers, and a 10 page final paper, and then there are response papers as part of the participation grade. I would HIGHLY recommend this ENWR to everyone. I didn't just learn to write a paper, but I learned about the meaning of life as well. This class really encourages that higher "college level" thinking, and I will take the lessons she taught me with me for the rest of my life!
