Professor Galvin is a really good professor who really wants her students to succeed. I came in thinking that I would dislike this class, but it ended up being one of my better classes this semester. I learned a lot of new and interesting techniques in writing, and I felt I just became a better writer overall, which is important for anyone. She also gives you feedback on how to improve your essays after you hand them in, and you can just make any appropriate corrections to receive a higher grade. I highly recommend you take this class if you can.

Pretty awesome class. Dr. Galvin has a lot of energy, and as a young teacher, in touch with some good music taste. Most classes consist of listening to a couple songs and then just discussing them.
