Tested out of ENWR but took this class because ENCWs were all full. Got an A- so a little disappointed. Would not recommend unless you are very engaged and participate a lot in discussions, although I felt the discussions were very shallow and uninteresting. They were normally on whether we thought the female protagonist was unlikeable or not and whether that was her fault. It was exhausting having the same discussion every class period and feeling like I was wasting my time. An ENWR should be anything but that. Please take a different course.

Amazing teacher! She is one of the nicest, most understanding teachers I've had. The only assignments are writing and some reading because she grades a lot on participation. So participate in class discussions and let her know you care and you will do great in this class!
