This is the first part of the 1505-1506 ENWR requirement! Professor Sullivan was great! From the get-go, she aims to get to know her students. This course had 3 modules. Each one contains 1-2 readings, various minor writing assignments, and then finally one final essay for the module. Overall, the course-load is not hard, but you do have to make sure to take some time to become familiar with the readings (annotate/take notes, usually required) and put in effort into your smaller writing assignments because they help build your final essays! She also gives honest and insightful feedback on assignments which is very helpful to improve your writing (and *hint, hint* helpful to build those final essays). Professor Sullivan does not leave you in the dark for any of the writing assignments! She provides a very descriptive syllabus at the beginning of the semester but also gives very detailed and helpful rubrics/instructions for every assignment! She loves and encourages participation, so always be prepared to share small bits from your writing, and thoughts and opinions. Again, she does this all with the intention of helping you, your classmates, and your writing. Professor Sullivan provides various resources, and you can always ask her for guidance. She genuinely cares about your writing/ideas and making sure you pass the class! I finished with an A! I highly recommend taking this course with Professor Sullivan!
