This course is exceptionally easy if you buy into the professor's framework. However, it may be difficult to wrap your mind around a framework that seeks to question all existing frameworks. Frankly, this course was a waist of time. If you care about the Middle East, then read a few newspapers every day...it will be just as informative as this class.

This course was great regarding the course content, but the assignments were not very clearly written and I think the course should be listed as an anthropology course not a a studies course. Very interesting content though!
