I love Suad, she really pushes me as a student. I have had her for 2020 and 3010 and I've had other professors for 1010-2010 but Suad has definitely encouraged me to improve in ways that other professors haven't as much -- I feel engaged in class and she really tries her best to make sure you get a good grade in the class.

Prof Suad is a fantastic professor, and we covered a good chunk of material in this course. I found it to be a great continuation of my Arabic studies and I would highly recommend this to students who have already completed the first two years of Arabic at UVA. The class progressed at a moderate pace and Suad was very available to students.
