Andre is a brilliant professor. There are readings (all are posted on Collab) that are due every class. He doesn't do pop quizzes to check to see if you've done the reading, but you do have to participate in class discussion. There is a blog post due Sunday mornings that deal with readings from that week. The 3 projects are reading review, midterm paper, and a group final project. He isn't the easiest grader; a majority of the class gets high B's on assignments.

It's a great class. Definitely take it if you are interested in learning about LGBTQ+ matters. We cover history and gender, as well as sexuality. Also, the class is very diverse. Compared to my other small classes, 2105 is much more racially diverse, has people from different majors (they aren't just humanities majors), has people who identify with many different sexualities (lesbian, gay, bi, pan, trans*, etc).
