This course is awful. 1 credit, meets once a week, and you learn little to nothing in those 50 minutes. Charity Fowler lets you be on your computer the whole time while she goes over some random stuff on PowerPoints that really doesn't do much to help us in our writing. Grades are made up of participation, 2 memos, and a final infographic. She made little to no connection to actually engage with the students, and as a result lost most of the class's attention by the second or third class. Really wish I would have gotten to take this class with someone more engaging like Volden. Took this class as a requirement for the Batten major, least favorite course at UVA thus far.
