This was a VERY interesting course if you are interested in climate change. A wide variety of topics was covered and the readings were long but mostly good (you also can skim them if you need to). Coursework included one one-page discussion of one set of readings, two blog posts about relevant news, three weekly discussion questions, and a final 18 page paper on your choice of topic (not as bad as it sounds). The classes were some instruction and then a discussion of readings. Participation was voluntary but graded. Overall very interesting and not overwhelming work. Lawrence and Canon were AWESOME, very knowledgeable, helpful, and enthusiastic.
