definitely a cool class. I took it for the nonwestern perspective requirement and it definitely fulfilled that. the readings from the film textbook were brief, and I never did the readings from the Buddhism book. he does have you read one whole book at the beginning of the semester, but it's short. he's more lenient on the film aspect than the Buddhism aspect since he's a religious studies professor. Some of the movies are long, but aside from some brief reaction papers and the final presentation, there's hardly any work. I got an A with not a ton of effort.
