Urbanovich is amazing! He is able to bring his perspective of the Soviet Union and breakdown some stereotypes that exist in America. He has his dry days, but there are others that are incredibly interesting. As a summer course, the reading can be intense, but not all of it is incredibly necessary, there is a lot of overlap between the readings. His tests are easy, if you do some studying. The final was pretty easy, it was an in-class essay, but he gives you the prompts beforehand so it is very easy to prepare. All in all I recommend Urbanovich and this class to anyone!
