DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!! As a pre-law student and avid worker, I was so so excited for this class. I regret it so much. Boucoyannis mens well, but it's evident that she's here for her own work and teaching can be kind of a nuisance. Readings were dense and long, and she wouldn't post the questions until the weekend. This would all be worth it, however, if the material had been remotely interesting, which it was NOT. Unless you're dying to take a class that is ONLY about the common law versus civil law in England and France respectively (mostly in the Middle Ages), do not under any circumstances take this class. I was also surprised when I got a B for my final despite being very vocal in discussion and doing all my weekly assignments and getting an A- on the midterm. Just don't.
