She was absolutely wonderful. I loved having her as a professor; she was funny, intelligent, and all-around a hero in my life. Thank you to the UVA facility for hiring her, I owe you a beer!

This class was like watching paint dry.... except the paint is toxic lead paint, and it never dries. Truly, this may be one of the most MISERABLE courses I have EVER taken in the Politics department. Professor Mershon is very intelligent, but she could not answer a question to save her life... or mine. She goes on random tangents constantly, and her grades are based on pure VIBES. Not to mention, her prioritization of "fairness" is borederline psychotic. If I can recommend one piece of advice to you, it is to stay so far away from this class or any other class by Professor Mershon. I wouldn't wish this course upon my worst enemy. She is kind of funny sometimes though.
